Proposed Charges - Grand Reunion Dinner

a. Dinner RM 80 nett (Chicoans are encouraged to bring their spouses for the event)

B. Golf RM 180 – 200 nett (the committee is looking at ways to stay within this budget as the club would normally charge around RM 230 -250 green fees and buggy for Saturday tee off)

C. Bowling at RM 8 + 5% govt tax per game inclusive of bowling shoes

Both games are expected to start at 1.00 pm.

Grand Reunion 2010

Dear Chicoans,
The Chico State Organizing Committee of 2010 is happy to announce that this year a grand Chico state alumni reunion dinner is being planned for the 19th June 2010 at the Tropicana Golf and Country Club (TGCC). This year’s event will see a combination of some games prior to the dinner which will also be played at the TGCC.

The plan is to have a golfing event for the golfers and bowling for the non golfers. There are other facilities that are available of which the list of prices is also as attached but this will have to be organized by specific interest groups amongst the batches and a focal point for each will need to elected who will organize these other sporting events.

Otherwise, all Chicoans can stick with the planned golf and bowling sessions as organized by the committee.

The budgeted rates for the events are as follows:
- Dinner RM 80 nett (Chicoans are encouraged to bring their spouses for the event)

Terms & Conditions
1. All players and guests are required to observe the Club’s Rules & Regulations and Bye-Laws including the Dress Code.

2. Players or guests shall indemnify the Club, its Director and Management staff from any suit, losses, damages, claims, liabilities, injuries or loss of life that occurs during or after the event.

3. Notice of cancellation: Minimum of 72 hours before the event failing which the full payable amount for the event will be charged accordingly.

4. Organizers must ensure that their guests meet the above requirements and take the full responsibility in the event of any accident or mishap.

5. No outside food & beverage is allowed at Bowling Center/ sports facilities area.

6. Sports Wing is designated as NO SMOKING zone.

7. Booking of lanes/ courts/ tables not taken up within 15 minutes from the reservation time will be automatically be given to the next person/s on the waiting list.

8. All payment can be made by membership account, credit card, or cash.

For the dinner, it is planned to start at 8.00 pm and there are suggestions and already some volunteers for some performances by Chicoans. There will be some games and other events being planned and the dinner will go on to 12.00 midnight.
The committee is comprised of representatives from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s batches so we are hopeful to have around 300 attendees for the reunion dinner.
The committee has decided to sell by tables at RM 800 per table or if by individuals then they must pay to the focal point for their batches by a specific date to be advised later.

For now the committee is running a survey as to how many Chicoans would like to attend the dinner and/or participate in the golf and bowling sessions. It is hoped that the Chicoans can schedule and commit to these events within the next 2 weeks in order for the committee to make the tentative arrangements with the club.
